Heavy Rain Advisory (Yellow Code) and Thunderstorm Advisory (Yellow Code): Sofia Province, Pazardzhik, Blagoevgrad, Pleven, Lovech, Plovdiv, Smolyan, Gabrovo, Stara Zagora, Kardzhali, Haskovo, Sliven, Yambol, Dobrich, Varna, Burgas
Intense rain accompanied by thunderstorms, and possibly hail, is expected in the warned areas. There is a risk of lightning strikes, fallen trees, road flooding, and river overflow. Pay close attention to weather conditions, road flooding, and river levels, and take appropriate safety measures such as avoiding travel during heavy rain.
