The Peruvian government has officially announced an extension of the state of emergency in Trujillo, Pataz, and Virú Provinces for 30 days, from August 12 (Monday) to September 10 (Tuesday), to address security concerns. Under this declaration, some constitutional rights, such as inviolability of the home, freedom of movement, assembly, and personal liberty, will be restricted in the affected areas during this period.
