On July 31 (local time), Ismail Haniya, head of the Hamas political bureau, was reportedly killed in Tehran, the capital of Iran, and the Iranian authorities have announced that they will retaliate against Israel in response to the murder.
Those who are planning to travel to or stay in Iran are advised not to make any unnecessary trips to Iran, as there is no denying the possibility that unforeseen circumstances may arise in the future.
In addition, Turkish Airlines delayed late night flights until the next morning, and all flights departing from Tehran today have been delayed and one flight has been canceled. There is a possibility of further flight cancellations or reductions in the number of flights depending on the situation.
For those who wish to leave Iran (including temporary return), please consider leaving the country as soon as possible while regular commercial flights are in operation.
