In response to the current security situation, we have been issuing multiple warnings and information updates. Protests organized by student groups and other organizations continue to take place, and notably, a nationwide demonstration was held yesterday to mourn the victims of the recent protests.
According to local police authorities, there is a possibility of protests occurring today (the 3rd) and tomorrow (the 4th) around Dhaka University and other major thoroughfares in the city where demonstrations have previously been active. Caution is advised, including outside Dhaka.
Therefore, when going out for work or shopping during periods when curfew restrictions have been lifted, please avoid approaching areas where demonstrations or gatherings are taking place. If you encounter a demonstration or gathering, prioritize your safety by leaving the area immediately.
If you encounter any emergencies, first ensure your own safety and then notify the embassy.
