Malaysia: Alert on Large-Scale Demonstrations in Kuala Lumpur

On Saturday, August 3, from 8:30 p.m. to around 9:30 p.m., a large scale protest demonstration against the situation surrounding Palestine and Israel is scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur (Bukit Bintang area).

The march will last approximately 50 minutes around Bukit Bintang.
The route of the march will be as follows
Depart from the shopping mall “The Starhill” (181, Jalan Bukit Bintang) → Intersection in front of shopping mall “Lot 10” → Intersection in front of hotel “PARKROYAL COLLECTION Kuala Lumpur” → Intersection in front of shopping mall “Lot 10 → Intersection in front of Bitz Bintang Hotel → Intersection in front of Lot 10 shopping mall.

Traffic regulations will be enforced on the roads surrounding the demonstration, which may affect traffic conditions.

There is a possibility that similar protests will be held in various locations in the future. Please stay away from such places.

A Palestine solidarity rally is scheduled to be held at the Axiata Arena, an indoor stadium in Bukit Jalil, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur, on Sunday, August 4, from around 8:00 pm. Traffic conditions may be affected, so please be careful when you go out.
