The Santa Cruz Federation of Bus Transportation Companies will be conducting 24-hour roadblocks at 19 locations throughout the county starting at 00:00 a.m. on August 1 as a protest against the government’s diesel supply shortage.
People in Santa Cruz Province, especially in the City of Santa Cruz, are asked to stay informed of relevant information and to stay away from roadblock areas and areas where large numbers of people are gathered to avoid being caught in unforeseen circumstances.
According to media reports, a notice to members of the Santa Cruz Bus Transportation Company Federation (La Federacion Departamental de Transportistas de Omnibuses) called for 24-hour road closures at 19 locations in the following counties
