The Government of Bangladesh has announced the following temporary curfew lifting times for Wednesday, July 31 through Saturday, August 3. The curfew will remain in effect until further notice. For other prefectures, the decision will be made by the District Director (DC) of each prefecture.
In addition, protests have been held sporadically throughout the country, and it has been announced that student groups will hold protests throughout the country on the 31st, so please continue to be vigilant. Although the curfew has been lifted for a longer period of time, please be aware of future movements, including around the time of the Friday mass prayer service as last week.

Dhaka, Ghazipur, Narayanganj and Narsinghdi: 7:00 – 20:00
For those who live in areas other than those mentioned above, and for those who will be affected after the curfew is lifted, please continue to obtain the latest information from the media and take precautions to avoid being caught in any unforeseen circumstances. Even when the curfew has been lifted, please avoid going near demonstrations and rallies, and if you encounter a demonstration or rally, please evacuate the area immediately, placing your own safety first.
