● According to reports, a 24-hour general strike led by public sector labor unions is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, November 20. This is expected to impact transportation and public services in major cities such as Athens. Please take this into consideration.

● Gatherings and demonstrations are also planned across the country, with the potential for clashes between demonstrators and police. Please avoid approaching these areas and exercise caution to avoid being caught up in any unforeseen incidents.

1. Planned Transportation Disruptions Across Greece and in Athens:

1.Athens City Buses: Service suspended from the start of operations until 9:00 AM, and from 9:00 PM until the end of operations.

2.Athens Trolleybuses: Service suspended from the start of operations until 9:00 AM, and from 9:00 PM until the end of operations.

3.Athens Metro: Service suspended from the start of operations until 9:00 AM, and from 9:00 PM until the end of operations.

4.National Rail and Suburban Rail (Proastiakos): 24-hour strike.

5.Ferries and Ships: Suspended from 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM (24 hours).

Note: Athens city buses, Metro Line 3, and suburban rail services include routes to and from Athens International Airport.

Regarding Athens city trams, no official announcements have been made at this time, but disruptions are possible.

2. Main Protest Gatherings and Demonstrations:

1.Athens City Center:

Gatherings are scheduled to begin around 10:30 AM at the following locations:

•Propylaea (in front of Panepistimio Metro Station, Line 2)

•Klafthmonos Square

Demonstrations will then proceed to Syntagma Square.

2.Thessaloniki City Center:

A gathering is scheduled to begin around 10:30 AM at the Employment Center of Thessaloniki (near the Ancient Roman Agora).
