These fake websites ask for credit card details under the pretense of charging a fee after you enter your personal information. However, there are no fees required upon entry. If you input your credit card information, there is a risk of fraudulent use, so please be vigilant.

As more services are moving online, including in Malaysia, it’s important to carefully check the URL of any website you use, especially when prompted to input personal information like credit card details. If you have mistakenly entered your credit card information on a fake site, it is strongly recommended to contact your credit card company immediately to suspend your card and prevent any unauthorized use.
