China will have a long holiday from Tuesday, October 1 to Monday, October 7 in celebration of the National Day. Whether you are staying in your city or traveling domestically during this holiday period, please be mindful of your surroundings and take necessary precautions to ensure your safety, such as being alert to suspicious individuals when you go out. If you are with children, take extra precautions, and consider going out in groups. Please pay particular attention to the following points:
- Respect local customs and be mindful of your surroundings. Pay attention to your words and behavior when interacting with locals.
- Avoid going out alone at night (especially during late hours, as trouble can easily arise in bars).
- Even during the day, be aware of your surroundings and refrain from speaking loudly in Japanese. Avoid gathering in large groups of Japanese individuals and engaging in noisy, conspicuous activities.

During the period when public institutions in China are closed for National Day and other holidays, if you lose your passport or it is stolen, domestic procedures in China may be delayed and take longer than usual. Please be especially careful with the management of your passport.
