The Government of Thailand has announced in the Official Gazette that the following measures will take effect on July 15, 2024, following the Cabinet decision on May 28, 2024, on Agenda Item 13 (Tourism and Economic Promotion Policy).
Expansion of the number of countries exempted from temporary visitor visas and extension of the period of stay (from 30 days to 60 days for tourism, work, and short-term business purposes)
Permission to stay in Thailand for one year after completion of the study visa.
Establishment of Destination Thailand Visa (DTV)
