Morocco: Advisory on Demonstrations in Marrakech (Saturday, September 21)

On Saturday, September 21, there is a possibility of a demonstration by workers near Marrakech Menara Airport, calling for improved working conditions. The demonstration is expected to involve several dozen to a hundred participants.

1. If the demonstrators block roads leading to Marrakech Menara Airport, it could cause localized disruptions to transportation.
2. In response to the demonstration, Moroccan authorities may increase security measures around the airport.
