- Extensive heavy rainfall has been ongoing in Slovakia for several days. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute has raised the flood alert level to the highest level 3 for the regions of Myjava, Skalica, Senica, and Malacky in western Slovakia, in response to rising water levels in the Morava and Danube rivers.
- Continued heavy rainfall is expected through the weekend, and water levels in surrounding rivers are likely to remain high even after the rain stops. Vigilance is necessary.
