3. Incident Overview
On the night of September 7, a gunfight occurred on Perpetuo Street in the Jorge Teixeira District (Val Paraíso Community) in Manaus. An 11-year-old boy present at the scene was hit by a stray bullet (to the head) and died. According to security authorities, the incident was related to a conflict between drug trafficking organizations.
