Brazil: Theft Incident Involving Japanese National (Copacabana District)

On March 23 (Saturday) at around 9:00 PM, a theft incident involving a Japanese national occurred. The victim was waiting inside a building on Rua Joaquim Nabuco in the Copacabana district after arranging a taxi via an app. After confirming the taxi’s arrival, the victim went outside through the gate to board the taxi. At that moment, a perpetrator on a bicycle appeared suddenly and snatched the victim’s mobile phone.
