On the evening of February 16 (Friday), around 10 PM, a robbery incident occurred involving a Japanese man. The victim was robbed by an assailant who suddenly appeared and threatened him with a firearm after he had just finished climbing the Escadaria Selaron (Selaron Steps) in the Lapa district. The assailant stole the victim’s belongings, including a mobile phone and cash.
