• On Sunday, February 18, around noon, the Japanese national visited JP Bezuidenhout Park (17th Ave, JP Bezuidenhout Park, Edenvale, 1609) in Johannesburg. After parking their car in the parking lot and locking it with an electronic key, they left the area. Note that there was no security guard stationed at the parking lot entrance.
• Around 1:30 PM, while the individual was approximately 200 meters away from the parking lot, they noticed a car similar to theirs leaving the parking lot. Upon checking, they discovered that their car had been stolen.
