Incident Overview: On October 6 (Thursday), around 9:00 PM, three Japanese nationals who were on a business trip in Irapuato, Guanajuato, were robbed. After dining at a restaurant on Las Villas Street in the city, they were walking to their hotel, which was approximately 100 meters away. At the hotel entrance, they were approached by four assailants who emerged from a gray van. The robbers seized their bags containing passports, a laptop, a smartphone, a Japanese driver’s license, and a vaccination certificate. The assailants fled in the gray van. There were no weapons involved, and no injuries were reported.
