Morocco: Advisory on Nationwide Strike by Healthcare Workers (November 12 to November 14)

A nationwide healthcare workers’ strike is planned across Morocco from Tuesday, November 12 to Thursday, November 14.

We advise Japanese nationals in Morocco to keep the following points in mind:

1. Check in Advance: If you need medical services during this period, we recommend confirming in advance whether medical facilities will be available.
2. Remain Aware of Surroundings: When going out, stay vigilant and aware of your surroundings. If you observe any crowds or suspicious situations, promptly leave the area and prioritize your safety.
3. Avoid Demonstrations: If you unexpectedly encounter a demonstration, avoid approaching or taking photos or videos. Leave the area calmly and promptly.
4. Follow Instructions: Follow any instructions from the police or other security authorities.
