On Tuesday, September 3rd, calls for a gathering to commemorate “Victory over Militaristic Japan and the End of World War II” are being circulated online for Moscow.
• Time: September 3rd (Tuesday) from 10:00 AM
• Location: Gather near the Karl Marx statue in front of the Bolshoi Theatre, then proceed to the Zhukov Monument and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for a wreath-laying ceremony.
• Organizer: Communist Party of the Russian Federation
Additionally, similar gatherings may also take place in front of the Japanese Embassy. Given that these events are related to Japan, it is advisable for Japanese nationals to avoid approaching the areas where these gatherings are scheduled, including for media coverage, to prevent any unnecessary trouble.
