● President Noboa has announced a 30-day extension of the state of emergency, which was originally declared on July 2nd, for Guayas Province, El Oro Province, Santa Elena Province, Manabí Province, Sucumbíos Province, Orellana Province, Los Ríos Province, and the city of Camilo Ponce Enriquez in Azuay Province. The extension is set to last until September 30 (Presidential Decree No. 377).

● The curfew will remain in effect as before.

1. To address the deterioration of security in Camilo Ponce Enriquez City in Guayas, El Oro, Santa Elena, Manabí, Sucumbíos, Orellana, Los Ríos, and Azuay Provinces, President Noboa has announced a 30-day extension (until September 30) of the state of emergency declared on July 2 (Presidential Decree No. 377).
2. The curfew hours and target areas remain the same, but are reiterated as follows:
(1) Curfew Hours:
10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning (with some exceptions for security and emergency personnel)
(2) Target Areas:
a. Guayas Province:
Duran, Balao, Tenguel
b. Los Ríos Province:
Babahoyo, Buena Fe, Quevedo, Pueblo Viejo, Vinces, Valencia, Ventanas, Moca, Urdaneta, Baba, Palenque, Quinsaloma, Montalvo
c. Orellana Province:
Joya de los Sachas, Puerto Francisco de Orellana, Loreto
d. Azuay Province:
Camilo Ponce Enriquez
3. Travelers are advised to avoid non-essential travel to these areas, stay updated on the security situation, and take precautions to ensure their safety.
