5. Safety Precautions
(1) Even when inside a vehicle, do not let your guard down. Avoid using your mobile phone or smartphone while driving. If use is necessary, check your surroundings carefully and limit use to only what is essential. At night, even if the windows are tinted, light from the phone can be seen from outside, making you an easy target, especially when stopped.
(2) While driving or stopped at traffic lights, stay alert and watch for any suspicious vehicles, motorcycles, or individuals nearby.
(3) In the event of a robbery, prioritize your safety above all else. Do not resist. Comply with the perpetrator’s demands and avoid any actions that may be mistaken for escape or resistance.
(4) It may be helpful to carry a wallet with cash for such situations, and to hide valuables such as passports and credit cards under the seat or in the trunk.
