The Government of Bangladesh has announced the following temporary lifting times for the curfew on July 24 and 25. The curfew will be extended until further notice. For other prefectures, the decision will be made by the Director General (DC) of each prefecture.

Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj, Narsinghdi: 10am to 5pm
For those who live in areas other than those mentioned above, and for those who will be affected after the curfew is lifted, please continue to obtain the latest information from the media and take precautions to avoid being caught in any unforeseen circumstances. Even when the curfew has been lifted, please avoid going near demonstrations or rallies, and if you encounter a demonstration or rally, please evacuate the area immediately, placing your own safety first.
If you encounter any unusual circumstances, please ensure your own safety first, and then notify the Embassy.
