Chile: Incident of a Murder Involving Firearms Due to an Attempted Vehicle Theft

According to reports, a Colombian man was killed by gunfire after attempting to resist an armed group of assailants during an attempted vehicle theft in front of a McDonald’s in the Providencia district, about 500 meters from the Japanese Embassy. We urge all Japanese nationals to remain vigilant.
