(2) The Japanese traveler sought help from nearby people, but a group of 10 men joined in and continued the assault. He sustained injuries to his neck, face, and legs. The traveler attempted to chase after the robber who fled with his belongings, but was threatened with a gun and forced to abandon the pursuit.
