Australia: Shooting Incident in Upper Austria’s Rohrbach District; Suspect Remains at Large

•According to police reports, on the morning of Monday, October 28, the mayor of Kirchberg ob der Donau was fatally shot by a 56-year-old man in the town of Altenfelden, located in the Rohrbach district of Upper Austria.

•Approximately two hours later, the suspect shot and killed another individual in the town of Arnreit, about 12 km from Altenfelden. The suspect remains at large.

•The Upper Austrian police, along with special forces, are actively searching for the suspect. There is a possibility that the individual may flee to other locations. If you encounter any suspicious persons while outside, leave the area immediately and contact the police by calling 133. Please prioritize your safety.
