Around 1:00 a.m. on October 17, a long-distance night bus traveling on the BR-373 highway near Candói in Paraná State (from Foz do Iguaçu to São Paulo) was attacked by a gang of armed robbers. Using two vehicles to force the bus to stop, the robbers took all belongings from the 37 passengers on board before fleeing the scene. Fortunately, no passengers were injured, but the suspects remain at large.
