A Japanese resident has reported an attempted break-in at a neighboring apartment.

Overview:
•Several men attempted to break into a second-floor apartment by damaging the window mesh.
•The resident of the targeted apartment was away at the time of the incident but had left the lights on as a precautionary measure.
•Another neighbor, alerted by the noise, shouted, prompting the intruders to flee in a vehicle parked near the apartment entrance.
•Multiple cuts were found in the window mesh, and signs indicated an attempt to pry off the metal window frame securing the mesh to the wall.
•The intruders reportedly looked through the window to verify that no one was inside before attempting to break in, despite the lights being on.
Fortunately, neither the Japanese resident nor the neighboring apartment suffered any direct harm in this incident.
Precautionary Measures:
Regardless of the floor, please ensure doors are locked and valuables are not visible from outside to reduce the likelihood of attempted intrusion.
