• On Monday, October 7, the Rwandan Ministry of Health announced that starting that day, travelers departing from Rwanda will be required to submit a declaration form concerning Marburg disease as part of the country’s preventive measures.
• The declaration form can be completed through the ministry’s website at

1. Personal information of the traveler (passport number, name, email address, mobile phone number)
2. Any unusual symptoms (temperature of 38 degrees Celsius or higher, headache, muscle pain, vomiting, diarrhea, severe fatigue, general weakness, lethargy, chest pain, unexpected bleeding)
3. Contact with individuals showing symptoms of Marburg disease within the past 21 days
• Upon completion, a QR code will be sent to the specified email address, which must be presented upon arrival at the airport.
