1. On October 7, which marks one year since the attack on Israel by Palestinian armed groups, gatherings are scheduled to take place in Oslo, including in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Parliament. The assemblies reported by our embassy include: (1) in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs starting around 5:00 PM, (2) in front of Parliament starting around 6:00 PM, and (3) around the Oslo synagogue starting around 5:00 PM.
2. Given the current situation in the Middle East, there is a possibility that participants may become unruly, and the risk of terrorism or unforeseen incidents occurring during this time cannot be ruled out.
3. In light of this, please make efforts to gather the latest security information and ensure your safety by avoiding areas where demonstrations are taking place, as well as Israeli and Palestinian-related facilities. The Israeli-related facilities in the area include: (1) the embassy (Parkveien 35), (2) the synagogue (Bergstien 13), and (3) the Jewish Museum (Calmeyers gate 15B). The Palestinian-related facility is the Palestinian Office (Kristian Augusts gate 3).
