• The Irrigation Department has announced that the water level of the Ping River is expected to exceed the peak level observed on September 26.
• There is a high possibility of more widespread and severe flooding.
• Even areas that have not experienced flooding before need to remain vigilant.

The Thai Irrigation Department has predicted that the water level of the Ping River will continue to rise and surpass the peak level of 4.93 meters recorded on September 26, which caused significant flooding. During the last peak, areas such as the vicinity of the Night Bazaar were severely impacted, and there is now a high likelihood of more extensive and severe flooding.

Residents of areas that did not experience flooding during the late September peak are also advised to remain on alert. Those living in flood-prone areas are urged to take preventive measures such as relocating household items, turning off electrical breakers (cut-out measures), and evacuating to safe locations if necessary.

Please stay informed of the latest updates, and for those staying in areas forecasted to experience heavy rain or flooding, avoid going out. If you have plans to travel or stay in such areas, consider adjusting your schedule, routes, or destinations as needed to avoid disaster or accidents.
