According to reports on Wednesday, October 2, an email suggesting terrorist attacks targeting security and military-related facilities, as well as military companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was sent to the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) yesterday. As a result, the alert level for these facilities has been raised.

While investigations are currently underway and details remain unclear, please ensure your safety by avoiding these areas and staying updated on the latest information.

In connection with the above, last week there were false bomb threats targeting Sarajevo Airport, large commercial facilities, and schools in the city (all confirmed to be hoaxes). Recently, there have been frequent bomb threats directed at schools, hospitals, police stations, courthouses, and commercial facilities in the country. Although no explosives have been found or detonated at any of the threatened facilities so far, please remain vigilant as there is a possibility that facilities near your home or where you are traveling may also receive bomb threats.
