  • September 30 (Monday) is Martyrs’ Day, a day to commemorate the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country in China. As of now, no specific protest activities have been confirmed; however, related events were held last year in the area, and similar events may take place this year.
  • If you plan to go out on September 30 (Monday), please pay attention to the following points:
    • (1) Obtain the latest security information and make an effort to confirm the safety of your destination. While out, be mindful not to speak loudly and remain vigilant of your surroundings.
    • (2) Stay aware of your surroundings, including any suspicious individuals approaching you. If you are out with children, take extra precautions to ensure their safety by going out in groups.
    • (3) If you encounter any protest activities, do not approach them recklessly. Avoid taking photos with your smartphone or posting about it on personal social media without caution.
    • (4) Be prepared in case the police request identification by carrying your Hong Kong ID or other identification while out.
    • (5) Do not approach suspicious objects or items whose owners are not clearly identified.
