Event: Effective October 1, 2024, all foreign non-residents traveling to Zanzibar will be required to purchase mandatory travel insurance directly from the national insurer, Zanzibar Insurance Corporation, prior to arrival. More information on the insurance requirement and any penalties for non-payment will be provided as it becomes available.
