Cambodia: Online immigration, customs, and quarantine procedures on arrival: extended pilot period

The Ministry of the Interior of Cambodia has notified us that the pilot operation of the online immigration, customs, and quarantine procedures (“Cambodia e-Arrival Card”) at international airports in Cambodia, which was scheduled to end on June 30 of this year, has been extended to December 31 of this year, with full-scale operation scheduled to begin on January 1, 2012. The Ministry of Interior of Cambodia has notified us that the pilot operation period, which was scheduled to end on June 30 of this year, has been extended to December 31 of this year, and full operation is scheduled to begin on January 1, 2012.

 Online procedures can be completed from 7 days prior to arrival in Cambodia through the following official website or application.

 According to the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia, during the trial operation period until December 31 this year, the existing paper form can be used in addition to the online procedure, but the online procedure will be integrated after the full operation starts on January 1, 2012.

 The details of this system, including the time and place of operation, are subject to change, and will be announced as new information becomes available.
