Poland: Advisory on Heavy Rain and Storm Warnings

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) in Poland has issued a heavy rain and storm warning. Due to the expected heavy rainfall from today through the weekend, the risk of flooding is extremely high. According to the IMGW, the southwestern regions of Poland (including Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Opole Voivodeship, Silesian Voivodeship, and Lesser Poland Voivodeship) are classified at the highest risk level, Level 3.

Other regions are also expected to experience dangerous levels of precipitation, so please obtain the latest information from government websites and media reports. Exercise caution when going out and be aware of the surrounding conditions. Additionally, be mindful of secondary disasters such as river flooding and landslides after heavy rains.
