● On the afternoon of September 11, the Government of Guam lowered the tropical cyclone warning from COR 3 (the second-highest level out of four) to COR 4 (the lowest level) following the passage of Tropical Depression “Bebinca (14W).”
● Although the storm has already subsided, the National Weather Service Guam Office has issued a coastal flood advisory until Friday morning and a flood watch until Saturday morning. Additionally, intermittent strong winds and heavy rain are expected in the coming days.
● As Guam typically experiences monsoon season and frequent typhoons until around December, we advise residents and travelers to always take precautions, such as stocking up on food and water, keeping cash on hand, filling vehicle gas tanks, checking generators, and replenishing gas supplies.
