Security Alert – U. S. Embassy Monrovia, Liberia (September 9, 2024)

The U.S. Embassy in Monrovia has received credible reports that more than 40 inmates from Margibi County prison overpowered prison guards and escaped into the surrounding area on the evening of September 8.
