The Peruvian government has announced in the official gazette the extension of the state of emergency for the Sarmiento District in the Tumbes Region.
Under this declaration, some constitutional rights will be restricted.

1. The Peruvian government has announced the extension of the state of emergency for the Sarmiento District in the Tumbes Region for 60 days, starting from Saturday, September 7.

2. During this period, certain constitutional rights, such as the inviolability of residence, freedom of movement, freedom of assembly, and personal freedom, will be restricted in the affected area. Additionally, security forces may conduct inspections of personal belongings and searches of vehicles without a warrant at checkpoints. Those planning to travel or stay in the area are advised to carry identification at all times.
3. The Japanese government has issued travel advisories for various regions in Peru, including Level 1 (Exercise Caution), Level 2 (Avoid Non-Essential Travel), and Level 3 (Avoid All Travel).
