1. The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted the extension of martial law until November 9, 2024.
2. Under martial law, fundamental human rights as defined by the Ukrainian Constitution are restricted. In some regions, curfews may be imposed. Please stay informed by checking announcements from local authorities and follow their instructions. As of August 19, the curfew hours in major cities are as follows:
• Kyiv City/Oblast: 00:00 – 05:00
• Lviv City/Oblast: 00:00 – 05:00
• Odesa City/Oblast: 00:00 – 05:00
• Kharkiv City/Oblast: 23:00 – 05:00
3. Ukraine remains under a “Level 4: Do Not Travel” advisory for the entire country. All travel to Ukraine should be avoided, regardless of the purpose, including to Kyiv. If you are currently in Ukraine, please ensure your safety and evacuate immediately.
