Location and Situation:
A report was received from a Japanese national residing locally about a theft incident at Ebeye Hotel (Marshall Islands Resort, Ebeye). Around 10 p.m., while staying in a room on the second floor, the individual noticed a presence on the balcony and, upon checking by opening the window, discovered that personal belongings placed on the balcony were missing. Fortunately, there was no intrusion into the guest room itself. The theft was reported to the hotel immediately after the incident, but the stolen items have not been recovered.

When staying in hotels (or general residences), always ensure that doors are locked regardless of the floor and avoid placing valuables in visible locations to minimize the risk of attempted theft.
