Honduras: Issuance of Red Alert Due to Heavy Rainfall (Valid Until November 18th, 12:00 AM)

The Emergency Response Department (COPECO) has issued a Red Alert for the following departments: Atlántida, Colón, Gracias a Dios, Islas de la Bahía, Choluteca, Cortés, Chortíca, and Valle, due to heavy rainfall, high waves, and tropical storm conditions. Evacuation measures are being urged.
A Yellow Alert has been issued for the following departments: Olancho, Santa Bárbara, El Paraíso, and Francisco Morazán. Please follow any instructions from authorities as needed.
For all other regions in the country, Green Alerts have been issued, and general caution is advised.
