China: Stabbing Incident in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province

The Wuxi Yixing Public Security Bureau reported that at approximately 18:30 local time on November 16, a 21-year-old male carried out a stabbing incident at Wuxi Arts and Crafts Vocational Technical College in the city. The attack resulted in 8 fatalities and 17 injuries, with the injured being transported to hospitals. The suspect was apprehended at the scene and is currently under further investigation. The Consulate General of Japan in Shanghai has confirmed with local authorities that there were no Japanese nationals among the victims.
