1.Taiwan’s Central Weather Bureau reports that, as of 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, Typhoon No. 21 (International Name: Kong-rey), a large and extremely powerful typhoon, is moving northwest over the sea southeast of Cape Eluanbi (southern tip of Taiwan). It is projected to approach Taiwan by Thursday, October 31. Additionally, the Central Weather Bureau has issued sea and land typhoon warnings (Land: Hualien, Taitung, Pingtung, Hengchun Peninsula; Sea: Taiwan Strait, eastern waters of Taiwan, Bashi Channel, Dongsha Island waters).
