Marshall: Advisory Regarding a Fire Incident at Ile du Port on Mahé Island
According to reports, a fire broke out at the commercial port (Zone 14 of Ile du Port) on Mahé Island around 9:30 PM on Friday, October 18th. Firefighting efforts continued until the early hours of Saturday, October 19th. Access for crew members has been restricted from the site of the fire to the nearby gas station, and the police are urging the public to avoid the area.
We kindly ask all Japanese residents and travelers to refrain from approaching the vicinity of the incident.
