• According to the U.S. National Hurricane Center, as of October 2, Tropical Depression Eleven-E is located along the southern Pacific coast of Mexico, moving north at 4.8 km/h. It is expected to make landfall in southern Mexico around 6 a.m. this Friday, October 4. Tropical Storm Warnings remain in effect for parts of the southern coastal areas of Mexico.
• Japanese nationals staying in the coastal areas of southern Mexico, including Chiapas, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Tabasco, and Guerrero, should be vigilant for heavy rain, strong winds, storm surges, high waves, and potential flooding or landslides caused by heavy rain.
