Lebanon: Attack on the Dahiyeh Area in the Southern Suburbs of Beirut and Request to Consider Departure via Commercial Flights

● In the early hours of October 2, there appears to have been an attack targeting the Dahiyeh area in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
● Those already residing in Lebanon are urged to remain extremely cautious. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, take immediate action to ensure your safety, such as evacuating to a secure area or location.
● A “Level 4: Evacuate. Do not travel.” warning remains in effect for all of Lebanon. Please refrain from any travel to Lebanon, regardless of purpose. If you are already in the country, ensure your safety and evacuate immediately via commercial flights while they are still operational.
● If you receive any information about Japanese nationals being affected, please promptly notify the embassy.
