The Peruvian government has announced the extension of the state of emergency for San Román Province in the Puno Region. This extension has been published in the official gazette.
As a result of this declaration, some constitutionally guaranteed rights will be restricted.

During this period, rights such as the inviolability of the home, freedom of movement, assembly, and personal freedom will be restricted in the affected region.
