We have received information that another demonstration named “March 2 Parliament” is planned for tomorrow, July 31, against the “Parliament of the Republic of Uganda” in the center of Kampala City.
Please stay away from the “Parliament of the Republic of Uganda” all day on the 31st.
The time of the demonstration is unknown at this time.
The route is unknown, but the final destination is the “Parliament of the Republic of Uganda”.
The “Parliament Avenue,” “Jinja Road,” and “Yusuf Lule Road” leading to the “Parliament of the Republic of Uganda” may be closed as on July 23rd and 25th. In order to avoid being caught in unforeseen circumstances, please ensure your own safety by avoiding places where unspecified people gather and evacuating immediately if you encounter a demonstration, rally, or other such event.
If you become a victim of a robbery, please do not resist the perpetrator and put your life first.
