Details of the Demonstrations
Around 10:00 AM on November 22, a large-scale demonstration involving approximately 100,000 participants (according to organizers) is expected to take place in Kathmandu, in areas including Sundhara and Durbar Marg.
The participants, primarily supporters of the Nepal Communist Party (Unified Marxist–Leninist) (UML), are scheduled to begin their march from Bhadrakali and proceed through Sundhara, Bir Hospital, Ratna Park, and Ghantaghar, concluding with a gathering at Durbar Marg.
Separately, from around 11:00 AM on the same day, a pro-monarchy and pro-Hinduism protest led by Durga Prasai is expected to take place in the Koteshwor area of Kathmandu.
